Anastasiya is a PhD in visual arts student, with a major in art education. She holds a Masters in Architecure from the University of Texas at Arlington, TX and a professional Bachelors in Architecture from the Cooper Union, NY. Additionally, Anastasia holds a status of the Associate Living Master at the international Art Renewal Center.
Anastasiya’s research focuses on the role of mythology in qualitative research methods, the role of architectural and painting techniques in the philosophical inquiry, and the role of psychogeography in the introspective research creation methods.
Anasyasiya was born in Eastern Europe and immigrated with her parents to the US in her teens. She started drawing and painting in her early childhood and received a figure-based atelier training growing up. While teaching architecture she has pursued a painting career over the last decade. Anastasiya has been awarded recognitions by the European Museum of Modern Art, National Portrait Society, Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists, Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art, Poets Artists, the Beautiful Bizarre, Goss183 publication, and others.
